Close to his heart

Have you ever grown so close to the heart of God only to be drawn away by all the distractions of this world?
Have you ever known what God was asking you to do but allowed fear, pride or selfishness to hold you captive?
I have.
Have you ever missed an opportunity only to have God turn around and give you a second chance?
Have you ever come before Him in tears because of your sin and received an outpouring of His grace, forgiveness, blessings and love?
I have.
Just today, in fact, I experienced each one of these.
