By the Power of the Spirit

Each day is...
a new opportunity
a clean slate
a blank page
an empty stage
and a new leaf.

No sin is too great for the blood of Jesus to cleanse.

No accomplishment is so great as to carry over to a new day.

How do we live life?

By our own strength?

When we attempt to live life by our own strength, we become tired, bored, distracted, aimless, lazy, disinterested, disappointed, depressed, angry, jealous, selfish, proud, worried, fearful and much more as we pursue the next high only to be let down again.

Are you tired, bored, distracted, aimless, lazy, disinterested, disappointed, depressed, angry, jealous, selfish, proud, worried, fearful or pursuing the next high only to be let down again?

If so, you are living in the flesh. I know because I have been there.

By the Spirit?

When we live life by the Spirit, He fills us with His power, His love, His strength, His joy, His peace, His patience, His kindness, His goodness, His faithfulness, His gentleness, His humility, His selflessness, His purposes, His focus and much more as we seek the Lord with all our hearts.

Are you loving, joyful, peaceable, patient, kind, good, faithful, gentle, self-controlled, humble, selfless, energetic, focused, purposeful or seeking the Lord with all your heart?

If so, you are living by the Spirit. I know because I have been there.

"Those who live according to the sinful nature have their minds set on what that nature desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires."
~ Romans 8:1-2, 5

What is your mind set on?
