Waiting

Everyone is waiting for something: a marriage partner, a bigger check, a graduation day, a better job (or just a job), a baby (or another baby), the next step in life and the list goes on.

Life is not about what we are waiting for here on earth but what we do while we wait for heaven.

"All these people were still living by faith when they died. They did not receive the things promised; they only saw them and welcomed them from a distance. And they admitted that they were aliens and strangers on earth." ~ Hebrews 11:13

"But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body." ~ Philippians 3:20

"Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies. For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what he already has? But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently."

~ Romans 8:23-25

"Wait for the Lord;
be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord." ~ Psalm 27:14 ~
